Everything! Helpful and friendly staff, great location, beautiful view of the canal outside my window, unbelievably comfortable room and bed, great shower, and the whole place felt like it had character and a vibrancy about it. Highly recommend!

The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the canal and afternoon sunshine. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast room was beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect!

The location was great and close to the tram stop. The staff were incredibly professional and very friendly. The service was outstanding. The interior is so beautiful and fits the architecture and style perfectly. My room was very comfortable and the view of the Amsterdam rooftops were amazing.

Really comfy beds, very attentive staff and excellent location. There was building work happening while we were staying but we didn't hear anything at all so it didn't disrupt our stay and we got a complimentary breakfast every morning to make up for the inconvenience! (We hadn't paid for breakfast with the room)

Staff is WONDERFUL. Thank you Wolfe, Patrick, Ada, Duko and colleagues. GREAT location. The lower level is where their complimentary breakfast is offered in a newly renovated area. Delicious selection of homemade cold items. They also offer pastry treats throughout the day along with teas/coffee/wine/champagne! Dinner reservations and recommendations were terrific. The level of service is impeccable with a boutique hotel feel. One heads up, this is a 300+ year old structure his is no elevator and the stairs are very Dutch… they go straight up! Any mobility issues make sure to ask for a ground floor room The staff is more than willing to do the heavy suitcase lifting. Treat yourself to a wonderful luxury boutique hotel, in central Amsterdam. It was well worth it. We’ll be back! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

A lovely hotel with excellent staff, perfectly located on the Prinsengracht and within a 10 sec walk to the connecting tramline. Trams run every 5 mins or so to Amsterdam Central Station. No need for Ubers or taxis. The hotel was undergoing some refurbishment work so breakfast was delivered directly to the room and hot drinks available by calling reception. I preferred the Eggs Benaddicted breakfast bar across the road! Nothing to fault! Will definitely be coming back.

Perfect location - close to everything, yet just tucked off on a side street. The building is quaint, but it's the staff that really takes this hotel to the next level. It didn't even feel scripted; you could feel the personality of each person who works here, and yet they were all united in their kindness and hospitality. I also loved that everyone was keen to share the history of the hotel!
